New UK Home Office Points Based Immigration System: INSZoom Upgrades Case Management Software Immediately
March 03, 2008
On February 29, 2008 the UK launched a new, point based immigration system to ensure that only people with the skills needed in the UK can enter and work in that country. As part of this new system, Home Office’s Border and Immigration Agency (BIA), introduced a new form for HSMP applicants wishing to extend their stay in the U.K. The form, TR1, the application for an extension of stay as a dependent of a person who has to leave to remain under the points based system, was published by BIA early this morning. Within 24 hours, INSZoom.com, Inc responded by creating the new form and integrating it into their U.K. case management software.
In addition to the TR1 form, ten additional forms were revised by Home Office and updated by INSZoom. The case management company will, as of March 4, 2008, integrate BIA questionnaires and points calculator into its robust product.
